“Katherine Bittner has been a saying grace for my family.  In the spring of 2020 it became increasingly apparent to me and my two brothers that our parents (both 89) were no longer fully capable of complete independent living and all of the children lived out of town. Katherine was our answer to help guide them through this time of life - a time punctuated by an occasional medical crisis, and by periodic times of my parents' confusion/disorientation regarding COVID, my mother’s health and progressing dementia, and by my father’s fatigue in being the primary caretaker of my mother. As summer passed and the cold autumn weather set in, Katherine had become a part of our family - this was fortuitous because by mind-November both parents had contracted COVID and Katherine’s role greatly (and quickly) expanded.  With COVID in the picture, they both had to be moved to an assisted living/nursing home. Katherine served as a daily liaison between multiple caretakers, administrators,, and all types of people/places that suddenly began to dominate our lives (i.e. lawyers, medical staff, caregivers etc). I simply cannot imagine going through all of this without her compassionate and highly efficient approach to handling everything. My mother died last December of pneumonia and COVID.  My hope was to have her move back home to die with peace and dignity.  This became possible due to Katherine’s connections with Hospice and her ongoing willingness to be there with them both as often and for as long as needed. I am grateful to have a father who survived COVID and grateful that my mothers death occurred according to her wishes.  In a few words that sum up the gratitude: Thank you Katherine for your love and care!”

“I work in a corporate trust department and have several mutual clients with Ageless Transitions.  I find Katherine to be responsive to my clients and she provides needed oversight in managing their medical care.  While some clients need very little assistance, others are to the point she coordinates and attends the appointments so she can accurately relay information to the family, as needed.  She empowers the client to be included in decision-making and allows them to age gracefully.  I know my clients are in good hands when she is overseeing their care.”
